Michelle Maust, MD
Dr. Michelle Maust is an experienced clinical psychiatrist with a robust background in biopsychosocial assessment and treatment. She studied neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University, earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and completed her residency training at Tripler Army Medical Center while serving in the United States Army. Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Maust has provided patient care in multiple settings including inpatient, outpatient, and international deployment, and has held key roles in several health organizations. Additionally, her experience as clinical research investigator further enriches her multifaceted expertise.
As an Investigator at Magnolia Clinical Research, Dr. Maust leads and conducts clinical trials in various therapeutic areas. Her experience in clinical research includes using technology to assess emotional wellbeing and medication treatment options for complex psychiatric illness. Brian R. Forrest, MD
Dr. Brian Forrest is a nationally recognized family physician with specialized expertise in cardiovascular disease and hypertension. He leads a private practice focused on accessible, relationship-centered primary care and chronic disease management, and has a broad clinical background spanning numerous therapeutic areas. Dr. Forrest serves in clinical faculty roles for several universities primarily teaching MD, DO, FNP students. He is known for pioneering the DPC innovative care model and leads a network of hundreds of these practices nationwide. He completed his Residency at Wake Forest University in 2001 and Medical School at UNC Chapel Hill in 1998.
In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Forrest conducts research across multiple therapeutic areas as a Principal and Sub-Investigator, collaborating closely with the clinical team to ensure high‑quality, ethical study conduct and reliable data generation. He has contributed to research in cardiometabolic, psychiatric, and primary‑care‑focused studies.
Angela Liszewski, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C
Angela Liszewski is a dedicated Physician Assistant focused on enhancing health outcomes through compassionate care and innovative clinical research. Her medical training began in the United States Army, culminating in a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2022, she earned a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree in Emergency Management and Global Health from the University of Lynchburg.
Angela excels in initiating and overseeing clinical protocols and has spearheaded numerous Performance Improvement initiatives throughout her career. With expertise in Primary and Urgent Care, she has extensive experience treating both acute and chronic mental health conditions. Her military background has equipped her with unique insights into diverse communities around the globe, fueling her passion for advancing culturally inclusive healthcare.
Lynn Eckert, PA‑C
Lynn Eckert is an experienced clinician and sub-investigator with more than 20 years of practice across multiple medical specialties and primary care. A graduate of the Duke University PA Program, she has spent over a decade contributing to clinical research in both outpatient settings and dedicated research organizations, including. Lynn works across diverse therapeutic areas as both a clinical rater and sub-investigator, bringing a strong commitment to ethical, high‑quality study conduct and participant‑centered care.
